Education Desk: On the occasion of the holy Eid-ul-Azha, the members of the BNP Standing Committee will pay homage to the tomb of the martyred President Ziaur Rahman. Only members of the party’s standing committee will go to pay homage at Ziaur Rahman’s tomb at Chandrima Udyan in the capital’s Sher-e-Bangla Nagar at 11am on the same day.
BNP chairperson’s media wing member Shamsuddin Didar confirmed the information.
Earlier, at a meeting of the BNP’s standing committee on July 25, it was decided to pay homage to Ziaur Rahman’s grave at 11 am after the Eid-ul-Azha prayers on August 1. Due to the coronavirus situation, only the members of the National Standing Committee decided to carry out the program while maintaining a safe social distance.
